    Points systems

In the past we have had several ways and styles to add and keep track of points. It was left up to whoever stepped up and did the work. Most races ,cars, bikes etc award points for everyone who makes the final. Pvr has had the habit of awarding 0 points to dnf in the final. I find this odd and always have as a driver who stays home gets the same points as a person who burns down in the final. I would like to see something awarded to any drivers who makes the final but gets a dnf. Maybe only 1 point but being there has to mean something . A driver who attends a race and makes the show should get more than somebody whos not there at all . Just my opinion, fire away .

I agree. It makes you feel like you accomplished something.

Over the years ,not sure who was doing points, but we did have points to take a green. Drivers seemed to like it, gave incentive to show, start, and place better, and make finnals. Made more work for scorers. For awhile scorers only recorded 1-5 that crossed finish line. We need a fair but a point system that is always the same.

The points system will be run by Raceday. I will discuss with other board members on how we want to handle that. If you enter DNF or DNS into Raceday it will not score you any points. If the scoring people want to keep track of when someone went down on top of scoring the leaders, then they can add what place you were in when you DNF. It makes it very hard to watch this due to there are only so many volunteers and only so many people that fit in the scoring trailer.

Way back the scoring crew only kept track of 4-5 spots. When we started with muliti race seasons and a points system that changed. Its a difficult job we ask people to do for nothing but the bonus having people bitch about it,lol. Thanks to all soricng crew and all of those who spent sundays adding them up and posting the results. Thanks for responding

Thanks for the info. I am not being critical of a point system. I would like to see it consistent year after year. I Know how difficult it is in scoring and appreciate the efforts of all involved. Thanks

Trying to mount a phazer skid in my fury

Anyone have time to answer some questions about mounting a phazer skid into my fury. Same tunnel as the Tigre/jags. I widened a jag skid to fit in but it wasnt working In the handling department plus there was some rubbing of wheels after widening it. I picked up a phazer to keep the 116 track so I just need to mount the skid in it. It’s drastically different from the jag skid and I’m not sure how to go about it. I have the phazer so I have the hole distances if anyone is willing to help me kout/point me in the right direction etc... please let me know. I want to race again but I am struggling getting this brick to turn. Thank you!!
