RE: Reorganization

After many years of successful racing and promotions, Pro Vintage Racing is taking this opportunity to do a bit of internal reorganizing. Some of the long time board members have decided to step aside from their PVR duties and concentrate full time on enjoying life. We would like to thank our former board members for the fine job they have done for Pro Vintage Racing, building it into the top program it has become. They can be very proud of their accomplishments in making Vintage Snowmobile Racing what it is today. PVR intends to carry on in this tradition.

The Staff of PVR had a meeting on April 1^st, to discuss a number of items & plan for the future. Some important issues were brought up, including the discussion of future members who will take part in our organization. PVR has also decided they will not be the sanctioning body for the Eagle River Vintage Weekend for 2007. PVR would like to take this opportunity to thank Eagle River Derby Track for the past association, and wish them the best of luck in their future ventures.

A summer meeting is scheduled to discuss the election of board members and the new winter race program. PVR is excited to be pursuing new ventures and locations for 2007 and beyond. Once the details have been formalized, the information will be forwarded to our members, as well as posted on the website.

We plan to better utilize the website for communication in the future, as well as updates to rules, posting of future events, race results etc. This will take a bit of time to organize, so bear with us. We expect to have things in place prior to the 2007 season.
