Q: What is the pure stock class, can I make any changes?
A: Pure stock means the chassis, and design of the sled cannot change. You may add lube lines. The class is designed to be low budget.
Q: What is the Mod Stock class?
A: This is a new class designed to attract factory race sleds with minimal modifications. No special skis, suspension, etc.
Q: Do you have to be a Provintage racing member to race at one event?
A: Yes, you must be a member and sign all appropriate waivers
Q: Does the insurance cover the drivers?
A: No, we recommend you purchase insurance from AFLAC or Frasier Insurance to cover personal accidents.
Q: How does PVR get help at the races?
A: We ask for volunteers to help out for each race. We have volunteer coordinators for each race.
Q: What does the drivers entry fee’s pay for?
A: We have 100% payback of entry fees. The insurance is $10.00 per day and cover’s our required insurance.
Q: If it does not specify in the rules if I can make changes, can I do what I want?
A: NO, The rules are a guideline, if you push the grey area, chances are a change will be made the following year and you may be required to change your sled back to original. Our goal is to keep the sleds as close to original from this day forward.
